Excavations and researches attract a growing number of foreign and local visitors who need short books and. explanations regarding İzmir and the district, as well as maps of the roads and sites.
In order to meet this increasing demand, the Aegean Tourism Association. plans to make such publications as are within its means. We publish,, first of all, The Archaeological Map of Western Anatolia, prepared by Mr. Rüstem Duyuran, hoping that tourists and those who wish to study the history of our region will find it useful.
