This case study is based on Stakeholder theory of Edward Freeman who was first described by it in his landmark book, Strategic Management: A Stakeholder Approach (1984). It suggests that shareholders are merely one of many stakeholders in a company. Stakeholders are a group of people who can affect or can be affected by the actions a business company. The stakeholder ecosystem, this theory says, involves anyone invested and involved in, or affected by, the company: employees, environmentalists near the company's plants, vendors, governmental agencies, and more. Freeman's theory suggests that a company's real success lies in satisfying all its stakeholders, not just those who might profit from its stock. In this book based on the case study, basic problems of business administration and business ethics are examined by events happening around an engineer, Hakan, who works for a shampoo production company, and other incidents occurring in and outside of the company.

In business ethics, provocative case studies like The Whistle-Blower are the gold standard for engaging students in meaningful discussions about ethics in business and their personal lives.
Joanne B. Ciulla, Professor and Director of the Institute for Ethical Leadership, Rutgers Business School, New Jersey, USA

This is a great book telling about problems we face in the business environment every day.
Prof. Dr. Semra Güney, Hacettepe University (Ankara), Department of Management

Read it several times and suggested it to my subordinates. Mehmet Auf, Actor, Author and the CEO of Fenomen Co.
